Terms of Service

About us: Pawfin is operated by Rudolf Bothma, sole proprietor, based in Meyerton, Gauteng, South Africa.

Products: Pawfin specialises in personalised and custom-made pet products. Product descriptions, dimensions, materials, colours and images are provided as accurately as possible. Because personalised and handmade items are individually produced, reasonable variations may occur.

Customer-supplied photographs and information: Customers are responsible for supplying suitable photographs and accurate customisation instructions, and for ensuring that they have permission to use any photographs or other material submitted to Pawfin.

Proofs and approval: Where a product includes an artwork proof, production begins after final approval. The number of revisions and applicable production process are described on the relevant product page and in our Refund Policy.

Pricing: All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR). Shipping is charged separately where applicable. Pawfin is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not added to prices.

Orders: By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

Cancellations, returns and refunds: Personalised and custom-made products are subject to the conditions described in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms is intended to limit any rights or remedies available to customers under applicable South African consumer law.

Production and delivery: Production and delivery times vary by product. Current estimates and shipping charges are described in our Shipping Policy and on relevant product pages.

Donations: Pawfin offers customers the option to donate to Feline Friendz Feral and Domestic Cat Rescue. Donation amounts are transferred to the rescue and are not retained by Pawfin as product revenue. Donations made through Pawfin do not constitute a tax-deductible receipt issued by Pawfin.

Limitation of liability: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pawfin is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of our products. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

Changes: We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will be made available on our website.
